Drone Shot of Lake Winnebago Neighborhood
James Asher, Broker

Asher Real Estate broker, James Asher, has been a life-long resident of the Kansas City metro area.  He loves his deeply rooted relationships here in Kansas City, and loves calling KC home.  James has always been actively involved within the community he grew up in, and a career helping others with their real estate transactions came naturally, with the desire to guide others through some of the biggest decisions of their lives.

James has his degree in Mathematics from Southwest Baptist University.  After college, he began a career in education where he taught math at Lee's Summit West High School, and coached baseball and softball.  His years in education and coaching were priceless, getting to meet amazing colleagues, students, and athletes.  James continues to have the "heart of a teacher" in everything he does, and loves to teach the process of homebuying, selling a home, buying investment property, or just explaining anything related to real estate.

In real estate, James has completed over 500 residential, commercial, land, and new construction transactions, and continues to work closely with his friends, family, and clients (who have become like family).  He also specializes in new home developments, where he has worked closely with over 20 builders.  James attributes the success of the developments to the hardworking developers, builders, excavators, and real estate professionals that he has worked with and learned from.

James is married to the love of his life, Jenna.  They live in Lake Winnebago, MO where they met at age 16.  As high schoolers, they dreamed of raising their family on the same lake they grew up on, which they are now so thankful they get to experience.  James and Jenna have 3 children, Cohen, Brooks, and Reese.  They spend summers on the lake and at the baseball field (where James coaches Cohen and Brooks), spring and fall at various campsites, and in winter, they love to visit the mountains to ski.

Ryan Greco, Agent

Ryan Greco's licensed real estate journey started in 2020, but he's been around the industry for many years.  Ryan began investing in real estate in his early 30's, and continues to invest whenever he can.  Ryan joined Asher Real Estate in 2022, and fits in perfectly with his hard work ethic, desire to serve others, and longing to continue to learn.

Ryan has the heart of an entrepreneur, and that began at the age of 15 when he started his first company...he still manages that lawn and landscape company to this day!  Ryan enjoys helping people accomplish the same thing he does himself.  He has used listing agents and buyers agents in most of his previous transactions, and now he gets to fill that role himself by helping others.  Ryan specializes in residential and commercial real estate, and he also has a passion for land.

No two deals are the same, and having representation is important.  Ryan brings experience from all sides, as a buyer, seller, and agent.  "You never know what roadblock you might be up against next, so it's important to have a team behind you, to navigate through an obstacle; one you may not see if you don't have representation.".  Ryan's passion is to set up his clients for a successful transaction.

Ryan is a 2007 graduate of Blue Springs High School and is married to his wife, Laura.  They live in Grain Valley with their 4 children.  When he's not working, Ryan describes himself as a "thrill seeker" and outdoorsman.  He loves hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family at the lake.
